Lincoln City Cultural Center Membership

Prior to receiving non-profit status, under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Lincoln City Cultural Center (LCCC) was first known as The Lincoln City Arts Forum as of August 10, 1992. It was further renamed the "4C's" (Coastal Communities Cultural Center), and received its Articles of Incorporation on December 20, 1996. The organization obtained Non-Profit Status on October 14, 1997. Six months later, in April of 1998, its first By-Laws were established and later revised in 2003. In September 2006, the 4C's leased DeLake School from the city of Lincoln City; and adopted its new business name of Lincoln City Cultural Center in February 2007.

Since 1929, historic DeLake School has been a center for education for the children of Lincoln City. LCCC continues this tradition for ALL ages, offering classes in art, dance, music, literature, and theatre.

Devoted volunteers provide a number of ongoing programs, including:

Classes - Change with the seasons, interest, and availability of instructors.

Galleries - Revolving exhibits of artwork by members and guest artists.

Film Night - A significant film, followed by a lively discussion, presented each month in the Congregational Church.

Rental Spaces - Available in cooperation with other organizations for cultural events and activities.

Gallery Tours - Monthly reception and tour of a local art gallery, followed by a no host dinner at a local restaurant.

Special Entertainment - Sponsored by Lincoln City Cultural Center in Delake School gymnasium – auditorium.

The Lincoln City Cultural Center also sponsors playwriting contests, fund raisers, and activities to encourage artists of all ages. To learn more about LCCC, click on Calendar of Events and Newsletter .
